Anti-ragging Cell (ARC):

In pursuance to the order of various approving & affiliating authorities, the Institute has constituted an Anti-Ragging Committee as per the directives of Honorable Supreme Court of India with a motto to Prevent Ragging in the Institution.  The Anti-Ragging Committee consists of following members.

  • Sri. Narayan Padhan, President, MC, RLHCP, Barpali will be the Chairman of this Committee. The Committee shall monitor the measures taken by the Institute for prevention of ragging and for looking into the specific instances of complain of ragging and suggest appropriate action against individual indulging in ragging. Some members of our campus community will be included in squad and such members will act accordingly to control the said activity of the Institution.

Hence, the students are hereby informed to report the committee for any sort of ragging to them in any manner, with confident so that immediate action shall be initiated to curb the ragging.   

Gender Sensitization Cell (GDC):

It’s hereby informed to all students and staffs that our institute has setup gender sensitization cell in January 2023. It aims at teaching the future leaders of the country that gender awareness and sensitization is the need of the hour and that the students and educators of our country need to unite in this initiative. The institution is well prepared to handle and respond to gender sensitive issues and provide an environment where men and women can work together with a sense of personal security and dignity.

Constitution and Objectives of the Gender Sensitization Cell:

Rajib Lochan Hota College of Pharmacy, Mahada, Barpali has constituted the Gender Sensitization Cellas per the directives of PCI regulations with motto to awareness about gender issues and working towards and creating an enabling environment of gender justice.

Main objective of Gender Sensitization cell are:

  • To make the young boys’ and girls’ gender sensitive and create positive values that supports the girls and their rights.
  • To provide overall guidance to the peer group in integrating/mainstreaming gender in all activities of the Institution in the form of focused group discussions, debates, poster making competitions etc.
  • To provide an integrated and interdisciplinary approach to understand the social and cultural constructions of gender that shapes the experiences of women and men in society.
  • To generate the awareness in regard to equality in law, social system and democratic activities.

    Anti-discrimination Cell (ADC):

  • Rajib Lochan Hota College of Pharmacy, Mahada, Barpaliis a place where the learning is celebrated every day. The Institution provides everybody with equal opportunity into its fold irrespective of caste, religion, language or based on gender. The Institution ensures that every individual inside the campus exercise equal rights and acquire in the process of offering or receiving education. Justice, Peace and Revolution are the roots based on which the living system exist in the campus. Any act, speech or intentions that perturb the harmony among the people is seriously regarded and dealt on immediate basis to restore the peace.       Objectives of the Cell:

      1. This cell will look after the related matters (if any) of depriving a student / staff or group of students on the basis of caste, creed, language, ethnicity, gender, different ability.
      2. This cell always try to uphold the dignity of the institution by addressing the concerns (if any) brought into the notice related to equality in offering or receiving education inside the campus.
      3. This cell ensures conducive environment for academic growth of the people belonging to the Institution and protects the rights of individuals without any prejudice to their appearance or lifestyle in the process of learning inside the campus.
      4. The Cell shall eliminate discrimination against or harassment of any individual in all forms by prohibiting it and by providing preventive and protective measures to facilitate its eradication and punishments for those who indulge in any form of discrimination or harassment.

      Internal Complain Committee (ICC):

        In pursuance of UGC (Prevention, prohibition and redressal of sexual harassment of women employees and students in higher educational institutions) Regulations, 2015 read with Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 and in partial modification of Office Order No. 449 dated 05.08.2016, Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is re-constituted as under to deal with the complaints relating to Sexual harassment at work place.

          Office Order
          The ICC comprises of the following members:

          On receipt of a complaint ICC shall conduct preliminary inquiry so as to ascertain the truth of the allegations by collecting the documentary evidence as well as recording statements of any possible witnesses including the complainant. ICC shall then submit the preliminary inquiry report to Director/Disciplinary Authority along with all the original documents adduced during the preliminary inquiry proceedings. In case the allegations are not in the nature of sexual harassment, ICC may refer such complaints to the Grievance Redressal cell.Chairperson, ICC shall receive the complaints of sexual harassment, if any, on behalf of ICC and shall co-ordinate the deliberations of the ICC on the complaints received.
